I switched from the 6.2 to a gas motor. I cut wires out I didn't need. I used the glow plug wires for the HEI and electric choke. There were a few wires left that I just bent over and heat shrinked.
Now my volt meter is completely dead and the temp gauge stays at 240. The oil gauge and fuel gauge works and the clock works.
Can someone tell me what the color of the wire that goes to the volt gauge is and where it's connected to under the hood or have a decent wire diagram that you can actually see the color code for the wires? I know the temp gauge wire is dark green.
The wire diagrams from this site are terrible, when you go to enlarge them, they get blurry. Even with a magnifying glass they are hard to see when printed.
