2.5" or 4" Lift 1986 K10

Redfish your post inspired me. I went from a rough riding 4” superlift to your setup. I didn’t want to mess with the front springs so I went with 2.5” rear blocks.

Now I need to get a new steering gear and power steering pump - probably a Borgeson shaft without rag joint….

@danzey your truck looks good. You have a lot of potential there. What are you going to do about a front bumper?

I’ve got a brand new premium bumper from LMC. Remaining items I’m working on is all new borgeson steering gear and shaft with new PS pump, bumper, and probably will remove a leaf from front springs to get a bit of rake as well.

@danzey here are a couple of pics of my spring removal. I took the bottom, short spring off each side. In the second pic you can see the bolt that holds the springs together that you will need to shorten a bit. If you don't cut the end off the cap that bolts down on top of the springs will not seat against them.

In case you are wondering, yes it does ride a little bit softer with that spring out. It also rolls a little bit more in the curves but this isn't a sports car so I don't let that bother me much. I have zero regrets for doing this little modification.
