I’ll have to heard all of em up some day and take a pic.

The oldest boy also has a 55 2 door handy man.

Here is a pic of my 68 ss I’m building.

It’s getting a 572 (built not crate motor)

There's been several days now that have not been so hot and humid, the AC blows in the low 50's, or high 40's when driving down the road.

40°
Mine don't get near THAT cold! - not for $20 worth of juice!
I found the blue deal though..we're gonna see. :waytogo:

@BigDaddy72 maybe you can give me some insight on how the HVAC system operates. The majority is pretty cut and dry and everything seems to be working fine, but being a '90, there's no Recirculation button on the controller. I know that by '94, they had the Recirculation feature. Does a '90 simply not have a recirculation mode, or is it automatic? The reason I ask is because when I start the truck and turn on the AC, at some point in the first several minutes of driving, something changes with the sound of the airflow in the dash... it sounds like I just hit the Recirculation button, but there isn't one, lol. When I had the glove box out to change the blend door motor, I didn't notice if there was another actuator motor back in there somewhere.

Well to answer your first question no there is no recirc function. My 94 Suburban had one but the ss did not.

Your second question is i have no clue lol!!

The way mine works is on and or off then there is the fan speed. Seems like if I think about it after a short little bit the a/c seems to ramp up.

I rebuilt my system years ago with jonsens freeze 12 so it blows ice cubes.

Sorry don’t think I was much help on that.

I decided to finally reattach the cloth to the driver door panel.

Dang, two years and no updates. Can you believe this Bucket guy? Sheesh. Lol.

No real news at all though. I used the truck as a fair weather driver last year. This year, I drove it once to the new house to meet a structural engineer, then drove it to the new house when we moved. That's it. Tomorrow is the last weekly show in Plain City so I washed it up in preparation for that. I hope to meet up with @SK 99 and @becca_nbg tomorrow at the same show.

Yeah, so long story short....

There's a local restaurant on a big lot with a ton of grass, ideal for parking hundreds of vehicles. They host weekly Cruise-Ins every Thursday from April 21th thru October 6th, according to their calendar. Oct. 6th is listed as their "end of the year cruise-in banquet"...so I was assuming this would be like every other week, but maybe with awards at the end since it was the last show? This belief was reinforced by discussions I heard while attending a show a few weeks prior, with other folks talking about how much they appreciated the weekly shows going all the way into October.

Well, the joke's on us. And a few others who showed up to an empty field, just as confused as we were. Apparently this "banquet" was just a dinner for a select few, and cool cars be damned because whoever these people were, they didn't even bother to take their "show" rides to the restaurant.

Sooo yeah, no car show today. Oh well. Life goes on!

The weather has been warming up a bit and there have been countless HEAVY rain storms that have washed all the salt from the roads, so the 3-season drivers are starting to get some use. I've been driving the 454 SS several days a week and I decided to finally make the truck "right" in my mind.

I finally feel like I have an actual 454 SS truck, lol.

Now, I know the paint on this truck is terrible, but the decal set was only 30 bucks. They are not restoration quality, but they are pretty good for the money. And I won't feel bad about peeling off 30 bucks worth of decals when the truck eventually gets real paint.
