that actually works against them in that case, multiple blades on razors are very diminishing returns, and the
cartel of razor manufactures (only a couple big names, and no big innovations despite frequent product line changes , conveniently requiring new handles to use new blades.. any razor colored pink are also almost always duller or stop being sharp quicker than ones not colored pink. lol) just make their less bladed products more poorly so they either dull quicker or seem duller from the start to push people to their more-blades-top-of-the-line razors which are sold are high markups
but the actual data would suggest two has a place as it makes shaving efficient compared to a single, but 3+ quickly isnt doing anything except potentially getting packed with skin and hair or irritating
Sadly, there was an attempt to break into the market by dollar shave club, then they got big enough to threaten Gillette and company enough they bought them and quickly ended that. Dollar shave club didnt produce any razors, they actually just private labeled ones sold only online or overseas(places that dont let markets consolidate as much as us) and introduced them at a healthy profit margin but much cheaper than the cartel.
Its not worth using anymore as a service but it was a good run
The razors they used to sell are now sold exclusively on amazon(in this country) and they fit the handles and sell them much cheaper than DSC did.
considering the pink razor and any razor marketed towards women being inferior and more expensive, its very cost savings to just use those. they just have smaller "lube" strips than women ones usually have
