interesting.. the first year or two of the series 1 supercharged used one belt. you sure it wasnt like a 95?
Unless pontiac was different from Buick on this, the same body platform even being compared on this
The series 1 had a lot of changes and its short run and older than most internet stuff makes it a unicorn sometimes too

I could just be remembering wrong. I haven't worked on any of those early ones in probably 15 years.

It was definitely a '93 though. I was there with my dad when he bought it. It had 6 miles on it when we left Dennis Pontiac in Columbus. Damn... that was 32 years ago. I still remember it like it was yesterday.

not fair my 1990 olds 88 had 11 miles when my step great grandpa got it from the dealer in eau claire, wi in 1989 lol
Memories are fun, Im not even 32 so my older memories are numerically obviously less than that but ive had a very complete memory since age 5 of a lot of things, and seem to have more 3-4 year old memories than most people (most people have entire or overwhelming Infantile amnesia, but some people are lucky or unlucky to have a lot of them lol.)

I distinctly remember my dads 75 gmc k25 when it was still a plow truck that sat at my grand parents tree farm(christmas trees) , and I remember when my dad got it, I remember when he removed the bed and installed a hydraulic cylinder and a flat bed
I remember the day he used it with boards on the edges to bring a load of sandbox sand for a sandbox , this would be like 2002-3, since it was before I was in kindegarten

I remember my moms 1990s sunbird (I think) , it was a pontiac , theres a slight chance it was a cavalier but it was in metallic purple and it was a coupe
It was her first new car, and she had it into the early 2000s but eventually got something else because she didnt like having to fold the seat forward for me to get in (I wasnt allowed in passenger seat even after i was out of the booster seat age for a long time lol)

Dad bought a brand new supercharged Bonneville in '93 and it had factory-installed wipers with spoilers on them. They were even painted body color, lol. I still have them, but I don't know where to get wiper refills anymore.
I think you can refill it by robbing the blade out of some of the generic arms.

See, I knew we kept you around here for a reason

Seriously though, I don't know why I didn't think of that.

that actually works against them in that case, multiple blades on razors are very diminishing returns, and the cartel of razor manufactures (only a couple big names, and no big innovations despite frequent product line changes , conveniently requiring new handles to use new blades.. any razor colored pink are also almost always duller or stop being sharp quicker than ones not colored pink. lol) just make their less bladed products more poorly so they either dull quicker or seem duller from the start to push people to their more-blades-top-of-the-line razors which are sold are high markups

but the actual data would suggest two has a place as it makes shaving efficient compared to a single, but 3+ quickly isnt doing anything except potentially getting packed with skin and hair or irritating

Sadly, there was an attempt to break into the market by dollar shave club, then they got big enough to threaten Gillette and company enough they bought them and quickly ended that. Dollar shave club didnt produce any razors, they actually just private labeled ones sold only online or overseas(places that dont let markets consolidate as much as us) and introduced them at a healthy profit margin but much cheaper than the cartel.

Its not worth using anymore as a service but it was a good run
The razors they used to sell are now sold exclusively on amazon(in this country) and they fit the handles and sell them much cheaper than DSC did.

considering the pink razor and any razor marketed towards women being inferior and more expensive, its very cost savings to just use those. they just have smaller "lube" strips than women ones usually have

if youre interested in reading about this cartel or what a cartel is here are some links:
ever heard of cryogenically freezing your blades? I've heard about it since the '90's. Aside from blades, there are test results out there with race engines that have been treated this way as well. What got me on it was the "Hype" about cryo softball bats.

Neat process to read up on.
