1987 V20 headlights

Needing replacement headlights on my 1987 V20, the existing ones are clearly marked, "2A1" on upper set low beam, and "1A1" on lower ones high-beam. All the parts sites I am looking on are showing one all around replacement headlamp "guaranteed to fit" with no differentiation. What pertinent information am I missing ??

im guessing that differentiates the intended use of the lamp. if you are using halogen, id go to the auto store and buy a high and lo beam for an 87 with quad head lamps. I cant imagine they had other options. The low beam probably has a feature to reduce glare at the tip of the filament while the hi beam probably does not

Where I live I had trouble finding replacement headlights for my 84, with quad lamps. When I did they were $20 a pop. I’m cheap. I held off buying them. While in Walmart one day I wandered down to the auto isle and found my headlights, both upper and lower, on clearance for $3 EACH!!!

The upper bulb is a low and high beam (3 prongs). The lower position is high beam only (2 prongs).
