Just looking for feedback/advise if anyone has any on this kit vs other coilover kits or flip kits. Really leaning this way, coil overs, for my entire truck but planned on starting with the rear before doing the front. Thanks!

I don't have first hand experience but have several friends that have the full QA1 setup on their trucks. It's certainly impressive, especially for a bolt on kit. If I were shopping and had the budget for a bolt on kit but not a full frame, QA1 or No Limit front and rear kits would be the only ones I'd consider.

I am very interested in a 4 link or coil over kit for my 78. Everything I found will lower the truck. I am a little too old school to appreciate the whole dropped with 24's genre. I want the performance at close to factory ride height. Does anybody have any suggestions?

There isn't one for a factory ride height or even close to factory height. The highest one will still drop the back end around 5-6". If you want the performance aspect of it, you need to drop it anyway, need to get the center of gravity down

This coilover kit here is adjustable and can be put close to stock height and you could also use the watts link axle locater which is better than panhard bars which that allow some movement.

I was looking at these but I am going for a 6" drop in rear and these fall short. I like the watts link.

I believe CPP, amongst others, sells a kit to basically put 67-72 traiiling arms on a squarebody but with coil overs to improve ride, handling, etc. Little more friendly on the wallet and still a very good option.

This is why I joined! Thank you, guys, very much! You all confirmed what I had already assumed but, you gave me some really good leads to follow up on. I should have it down to the chassis this weekend. I will show my progress as it happens. Thanks again!

Any advice as to what coil overs to run. Looking like 12" at ride height with 5" of travel to bump stops. I am moving the fuel tank to the rear. 78 K15 short bed, step side. Mostly trying to find out what weight spring. 230lbs sound about right?
