1987 K30: Please help me value!

I'm sold, the people that know these trucks deems it overpriced and I have to agree. Although I did find an interesting graph on Hargerty.com that shows the Square Bodies have a current upward trend in price in the past 3 years showing a general increase of about $1000:

Onto the next challenge! Saw this K20 w/ an L89 swapped in and SM465 tranny listed for $8000. Thinking it might be worth around 6k-6.5k...based on the same crappy comps in my area (That L89 plus a 4 speed stick is pretty sweet though, I'll have to run the numbers on it to make sure its the real deal). What are you guys thinking? Unfortuantly my daily driver just crapped out the rear end and now I NEED to buy a truck. Desperate times always make for a good deal...right?

Those pics don't tell the whole story but that truck might be worth close to the asking price. Think about how much you would have to spend on the K30 to get it running and looking like that. Of course try to talk him down but I have that trucks baby sis and it turns heads where ever I go.

Well unfortunately for me, the red K20 sold for $7000 a few days ago. Must have been a good deal because it only lasted a week on CraigsList!
