I feel for ya Kenny, keep at it. Sounds like a mess of wiring on your hands.
I just want to throw this out there, check all the fusible links. I lost the fusible link at the alternator to fire wall red wire and had similar symptoms. I figured it out by twisting the wire at the link and saw the power cut off when I did so. Also fusible links near starter and i believe there is one along the firewall somewhere?
