I have a 1987 r10 and I need a drag link but they don't make them anymore the ones I find are wore like the one I have now needed to know if I can change to another model and what I needed to do to accomplish that or ?

Straight axle it and use the above drag link. :lol:

You can find them at junk yards but all bad can weld the pieces together but no going back gonna try to piece something together from other years if it works I will put the winning combo online so we can spread the word

I can't really see how it would get worn out and be bad on all of the trucks...the idler arm, pitarm arm, and tie rod tapers should lock into the taper on the drag link. All of the wear should be occuring in the sockets of the tie rods/idler arm/pitman, etc. The drag link off of my 87' is pristine in the tapers.

Agreed. It's no longer available because it's a non-wear item. Only time they get screwed up is from getting wrecked or people leaving nuts loose when they replace other parts.
