Good day Everyone,
Brand new member, I've got a 1984 GMC High Sierra C1500 that was passed down to me from my father, We travelled many miles in it when I was kid, then it became the work truck on our ranch. There is currently no engine in it, but I do have a spare 1998 4.3L V6 with wiring harness that I am considering putting into it, with either a 700r4 or the original th350.
I am looking at breathing new life into it as a daily to and from work cruiser, not much more. My many other vehicle's are for the fun stuff.
in the square body generation's I also have a 1977 GMC C2500 that I recently purchased off a friend's father. Not much is known about this truck, haven't had a chance to sit and learn the history of it yet. There is an issue with the transmission that needs to be tended too, not sure if its the trans itself or just the torque converter is shot.
