1980 dash ?

This might have been asked already and forgive me if it has. I have and 80 non-ac I cannot seem to find a insert for any 76-80 dash pads with out the dash vents.

My 1st question is "will a 81-89 insert fit in the 80 dash pad?

We are in need a new Dash pad anyways.

Next 2nd question " if not, will a 81-89 dash pad fit correctly in the 80 so we can use the non-ac insert.

No, the 81-89 dash is different, you need '73-'80. Bone yard or new aftermarket. You should be able to find a non-a/c insert pretty easily. I have a sweet square honey hole junkyard I could look for you if you'd want to pay for shipping from MT.

Might just have to at this point. As you can see from our build thread we are far from ready for it however kinda buying parts in advance to be assembled later.

78-80 dash pads are the ones you need. 73 are different because there is no VIN opening at the windshield base. my 1978 with AC, albeit a ac truck, has the opening. so 78-80 should work OP !
