Newbie to site, joined to learn and share. Bought new 1979 C10 with 250 ci straight six with a 4-speed granny. Slapped a Guidon fiberglass shell on the 8-foot box and let the adventures begin. The integrated head has finally given up the ghost and am looking to replace head, intake and exhaust manifolds, already have dual exhausts. Have some Square Body hilarity to share, looking for other's tales, tall and otherwise.

Welcome from Central NC. I have dad's 79 C20 Crew that he bought new. It has logged (no pun intended) 400K plus miles going to numerous logging sites in central & eastern NC.
Dad ordered it with a 350 & SM465 with 3.73 out back. He swore he'd get twice the mileage of a 454 automatic truck. Seeing as it will get 12 plus pulling the equipment trailer, he was right.
I don't know much about your integral headed 6...but I have recently bought me an OHC 6 Pontiac Sprint as I've always wanted one. I've gotta rebuild it & then find something to put it in...
Good luck with your rebuild, refurbish or re-do.
