Factory radio 83-87. AC DELCO 2700 ETR

Im having issues with mine ('86)... It puts out good sound, but the front screen has a LED that doesnt always work, popping when adjusting the volume knob, and the signals to the speakers randomly goes in and out.

I'd like to fix it if not too expensive, but I haven't found much info yet.

A product called "DeOXit" can help with that - the variable resistors moved by the knobs get oxidation on them (and the switch contacts). Not sure how easy it is to open it up, but a quick shot of de-oxit usually makes noisy controls settle down.

Not to hi-jack your thread, but I'm looking for a "Treble" control knob for one of these 2700's. Anybody have any laying around??

That is a Delco ETR radio. Electronically tuned radio. The segment driver for the displays often fail and you lose part or all of the display. I can fix these but it takes a little longer due to parts availability. Nice radio when it's tuned up correctly.
