How is it that my local Autozone, O'Reilly, and Advance Auto Parts stores sell the stock fuel filter, but never heard of the fuel filter housing/fitting seal?? I am talking about that 1" round, hard, plastic seal that clips onto the ends of the threads. All Rochesters have them. This is supposed to be a onetime use seal and replaced at every fuel filter change. It's been 30 years since I messed with a quadrajet carburetor, but I would SWEAR this seal used to always come with the serviceable filter back then??? #327 in the GM parts catalog photo....
