K so I’ve been driven crazy by this drone in my front suspension on my right side and I’ve changed bearings, pulled out the locking hub to isolate it, zip tied front drive shaft to make sure it wasn’t spinning and changed the calliper and after I changed the calliper the noise began to gradually change sides. I then change the other sides calliper but the noise is still there. Side note the noise is now on the the driver side and when I put pressure on the passenger driver side drone goes silent. Vise versa when the noise was originally on the passenger side

Tires or bearings. What's your bearing adjustment procedure? Could possibly axle shaft u joints. Rotate the tires.

We have rotated tires but sound has not changed and we did replace bearing when the sound was on the passenger side but the sound did not leave passenger side for like a week or two. Bearing procedure is pack bearing put them on tighten first nut to something really light then put on the washer aligning it with ok then tighten lock nut to some torque maybe around 80 but I can’t rememebr

Most of the time failed bearings can be located by running on a hoist or jack stands using a stethoscope.

I have zero 4x4 experience but don't rule out bearings inside the diff going bad. Could be a pinion or differential bearing. I'd put it on jackstands and run it with a helper in the cab while you listen with a stethoscope or extension to your ear VERY CAREFULLY

to rule that out we put it in 4 wheel drive but sound didn’t change and in 2 we ziptied both axle shafts at the u joint to make sure they weren’t spinning while going down the road and the sound was still there. Would that not rule out the if the bearing if the bearings aren’t spinning? Or could they still be a problem?

A neighbor pointed out the other day that my DR front wheel stuck out more than the PA side wheel. Not sure if this relates to you or not.

Alignment? Following because I've got a bit of drone as well....depending on where the steering wheel is. I think mine might be the possibility of the need for a power steering pump.

Are you lifted or stock height?
Mud tires or all terrains?
Your truck should have an np208, part time transfer case.
Have you tried moving the truck in 2 and 4?
Have you adjusted the toe? Usually 1/8 to 1/4” in.
Condition of the ball joints?
With the front end on jack stands can you move the wheel up and down? Push in/pull out the top and bottom of the wheel?

When you changed calipers did you check for runout on the disc?
Are the calipers hanging up and a pad is sticking on the rotor?

Just throwing things at you to eliminate.

Drive for a bit and then check to see if the rotors or excessively hot. Check alignment with a tape measure.

It was just recently aligned and everything looked good when I changed callipers, no play in steering wheel and and just recently aligned. I also have mud tires but put on a street tire and the sound didn’t change
