1977 C10 not getting fuel

Yup, it turned out to be the fuel tank selector valve. I bypassed it like you stated above; it ran perfect. From there I ordered a new valve, put it in and the truck ran like it should and had good fuel flow. Never been better. Thanks again!!

Glad you got it running. Do you think the selector valve was stopped up, stuck between the tanks, or sucking air??

I think it was stuck between the tanks.

No fuel

Just found my problem with not getting fuel after replacing all fuel lines, three fuel pumps and a lot if sitting beside the road for 15 to 20 mins at a time! Anyways long story shorter, thought I was having a vapor locking problem but I also have an older almost worn out 305. After everything else had been replaced pulled the pump push rod and lobe on cam is completely worn out. Can't even hardly push pump. New motor it is. Was wanting 454 anyways. Here's my chance!
