….so I can throw it back together right away.

I’ll buy the whole kit, clutch disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing and pilot bearing. I know it’s best to pull it first bit I need it to go back together quickly.

thanks !

It’s 11” IIRC. Though it may accept an 11 or 12”. Someone who knows better could chime in soon.

When in doubt, RockAuto’s parts catalog is pretty darn accurate and their prices are good.

Yes, not available in 1973, auto trans only. 1974 and 1975 I believe, just two years. Maybe a few made in 1976. The issue, you could lock up the drive line on dry pavement. I only did it once, learned my lesson.

I'm not sure I follow. Do you mean get the driveline bound up enough to where you couldn't shift anything?

Yes, here's the story: Driving to work in heavy snow. Get to work, the building crew has the parking lot totally clear. Still in Hi Loc, (not think'in) I turn tight into a parking spot. Truck stops, engine stalls. Have twisted up the drive line, can't move either shifter. With an automatic your could just move the shifter into reverse and back out of the lock-up.

I figure I need to get a jack and lift a wheel, but one more try, one foot on the long 4 sp shift lever and push. Got it out of 2nd, then in reverse and back up.

Do you think that if the finicky 203 shifter was out of the equation, it maybe wouldn't be an issue? Like if the 203 had twin sticks?

Probably, don't know of a problem like this with the 205 and a stick shift.
