Got back on the C10 this weekend. Got the steering column in, down to the steering box. Put in some nice Kicker kick panels and started the wiring harness.

Got back on the C10 this morning early. Put about 7 hours into it. Finished all the stereo and wiring, installed the old school loop carpet (light gray), got the seat in and really liked how these door seal covers turned out from LMC truck. Good progress today.

Well, I’ve almost got to a point where I’ve done everything I can here at the house. It’s pretty much ready to head back to the shop to get the bed assembled and bolted on. Coming along well.

Interior turned out great. All new glass, rubber, door panels, trim. I’m really happy with the product LMC Truck provides. I know some times people run into fitment issues, but for the most part, I’ve had great luck. Auto Meter produces a very nice Carbon Fiber Lite gauge and uses a simple plug n play to the factory OEM harness with a few splices.

I believe you stated in an earlier post that you are doing a 700r4. What crossmember are you planning on using, and have you test fit it? On my son's '77 C10, the trans hits the bottom of the cab in multiple places. The local shop says that they usually have to modify the floor on the 73-80 trucks but I'm hoping that's not the case. Also, surprised as a 700r4 really isn't much bigger than the 350 or 400's that these came with.

Boy- I hope that’s not the case. Lol. I purchased a 2” drop cross member to run. I assume that gives the allotted clearance. Have not test fit yet. Now I’m nervous.
