1966 Brand New Pick Ups on Rail Car near Mt Shasta

Sadly, I can't seem to find RetroC10Sport's New Square thread to add this to it, so I just started a new thread in Other Vehicles to post it. This pic kinda made my sticker peck out a bit and got my leg a little wet, so it's for sure worth posting. @DoubleDingo will appreciate it for sure.

BTW, I know they are 64-66 Pick Ups, but IIRC, 66 was the only year of those 3 to have the big rear window option and I see a big rear window, so that's how I dated them as 66's.

Here is the original caption for the photo. Also the 65 pickup sales brochure has “panoramic view” trucks on the cover and throughout the brochure.

That is one fine train load of trucks right there. Thanks for posting it and tagging me to see it. My heart and soul is always with the 65 c20 and 56 sedan, that will never change, even though I have owned other makes and models

All of my '65 cabs are stamped for the big window, but the small window is installed.

Somewhere around 30 years ago I had a 65' C20, it was like that, small window stamped for big. I don't think it had back up lights, but man the memory fades overtime. I know it had no seat belts. I really liked that truck, but only had it a few years before someone pulled out of an intersection right in front of me. IDK how they couldn't have seen me, but I was going 55 and slammed right into the side of his truck which oddly enough was a square body suburban.

I always thought the shift pattern of the manual transmission, what was the designation, was it the SM427? Anyhow I always though reverse being towards the driver made better sense than reverse being towards passenger, at least when there are three in the truck.

Learn something new every day. I thought the big window didn't exist until 1966. So these are 64. I knew they were at least 64 quickly when they didn't have the wrap around windshield and knee knocker.
