12 bolt series-2 carrier

Have been looking everywhere to try and find a 12 bolt series-2 differential carrier. The previous owner ground into it and the center pin is loose. Anyone know a site that sells them? My 81 k10 305 currently has 2.73's. The truck isn't worth replacing the gears in thr front and rear axles for a 3.73, and I do enjoy the mileage I get with the 2.73's.

gpmorgan, summit only carries 3 and 4 series carriers. I am needing 2 series. It's killing me haha. Thanks for trying though.

Are you looking for a posi or just a replacement for the beat up one?

Ideally it would be posi, but it's not a necessity. It's just for a beater to drive back and forth to work on rock roads.

This is the only 2 series carrier I have found. From what I understand the car carrier doesn't easily swap into the truck 12 bolt?

My bad I'm sorry I didn't notice it was a car. The guts are the same tho. Another thing you could do is swap in a 8.5 10 bolt, a whole rear would be cheaper then buying a new carrier and gears if you can't find a series 2. It's a bolt in swap.
