Well about 15 min ago I ordered the SE grill for the ole girl and a set of 9005/9006 led headlights for it. I am presently running an OLD set of HIDs that one bulb doesn't match the other any more and aren't putting out the way they used to so it was time for an upgrade.

And on another note if anyone is looking to restore a set of head lights. From my personal experience get the restore kit you want to use and recommend anyone that comes with sanding pads and get a can of Meguiar's headlight coating. I have sanded and polished my headlights more times than I recall. But finishing off with the headlight coating looks amazing.

Well today was more tinkering with the Camry just trying to get things right since it is now getting driven and not just sitting collecting dust.

I pulled some things off the wal mart clearance rack and hooked them up to my head unit so I can mirror my cell. I snatched up an HDMI to AV box for $8, Type C to HDMI for $9 and an open pack 6' HDMI cable for $2. Took about 5 minutes and voila. Screen mirror... I will post a shot of it tomorrow.

Installed a new back Up camera since my old one was rotten and full of moisture.

Royal Purple oil change with K&N filter. While doing that little tidbit I noticed that my engine stabilizer was ripped. So I did what any old ricer would do. I went and picked up a tube of 3m Window Weld urethane up from Advanced Auto( only ones that had it). That will more than likely be on tomorrows list of things to do. Make a solid mount and feel the vibrations.

I also did a dry wash and wax followed by a ceramic wax job and really cleaned it up nice.

Well today I changed the tint on the drivers side window that peeled off with good ole wal mart tint. Roll of 20% $10 and the applicator kit $10. So for $20 and about an hr of stripping and reapplying I am good as new. Just a slight color difference I can see from the inside but outside you can't tell due to 15 years of window oxidation that i need to get off.

For anyone that wants to tackle it the process is rather simple. Just keep everything WET. If you can keep it WET and not play with it dry you shouldn't have an issues. Just remove your panel. Clean, clean, clean your window inside and out. Then get your sizing by laying your tint on the outside of the window. Followed by peeing off the backing and hosing it down as you go with your application liquid(soapy water) and you can't use to much water on the sticky. Then take your tint ever so carefully and lay it on the inside of your window, spraying more water on the tint and squeegee it out. In that little pump bottle for one window I used about 1/2 the container. You then tuck the tint up into the upper window channel with the squeegee and trim your excess.

I am gonna give my tint about a week of sun before rolling down bc the weather here is ****. But when its hotter than a $2 hooker outside on a Friday night that falls on the 1st of the month it should only take a day or 2 to set.

Maybe my ramble will help someone that comes across the post but who knows.
