Hey there. Nice to be back on a forum again. Have been apart of many over the years so I’ll just keep it short and sweet. Would love to meet some local guys/gals if there are any on here. Currently building a 78 K10. Picked it up out of a yard in Clinton, La. (Most the body panels are rusted/dented beyond repair) Got it running and driving again after a little work, now I’m doing bodywork after purchasing a new cab. Currently 350/465/205. Planning on 6.0/4L80E/205.

Hell yea man! We’ll have to get together soon. I’ve met a few c10/k10 guys at recent shows. You don’t happen to have a decent extra set of doors do you?

@HiCotton there is a C10 Club Facebook page that will give you access to some pretty decent folks. There were a few decent Squares at the car show in Jackson, LA. One guy in your area has a superb blue and silver K20, I met him in Clinton the day of the Jackson show.

What kind of winch do you have? I was unable to make out the details.

Yep! I saw quite a few there as well. Also met the fella you are speaking of. He was actually checking into some doors for me this week. I’ll see him Saturday in Zachary and see if he found anything. The current winch on it is a mile marker worm drive. Which I’m willing to part ways with if you or someone you know may be interested. No idea of the condition as I haven’t hooked it up, but have the manual to go with it. I have a WARN VR10 sitting in the box in my shop, so that’s what I’m going to replace it with whenever that time comes.

Thanks man, the wife says we have to restore it as a stepside as well. Seems a little more pricey than fleet side restoration, but happy wife happy life.
