    Rear engine brackets.

You are the man! It worked like a charm! I found a 89 G20 with either the 5.0 or 5.7 at my local yard. They have 3 of them actually. An 89 (the one I pulled the brackets and other parts from), a 93, and I think another late 80's or early 90's one. Super easy to get to and grabbed some other...

My God, that's brilliant! Never thought of that. There is a Chevy van at my local yard, I'll check it. Thanks so much!

Ok, thank you! Let me know and if you can get some pics as well, that would be great. Once it's confirmed, I will happily pay for them including shipping.

    Rear engine brackets.

Ok, thank you. I tried first with a 10 and then a 13 but no go and then the yard was closing so I had to leave.

    Rear engine brackets.

Ok, here's a good pic of both brackets. The ones I need are mounted to the back of both cylinder heads. Driver's side for the intake to brake booster hardline and the passenger heater hose support bracket. If anyone has any good tips on how to remove some from a junkyard motor with the motor...

    Rear engine brackets.

Here's a good pic of the bracket on the driver's side. It's the one there on the back of the cylinder head. It holds the intake to brake booster hardline. Trying to find a good pic of the passenger side bracket.

I'll get one later. I thought I had one but nope. Let me see if there is a good one doing a random search on the Web.

    Rear engine brackets.

Hey guys, does anyone know if the rear brackets on the back of the cylinder heads/block are easily removable with the engine still in the truck? My bud and I are working on a 87 GMC High Sierra 4x4. It has the TBI 350. We need to mount the intake to brake booster tube on the driver's side and...

My 3rd Car, a FREE 1990 Olds Cutlass Supreme

Oh God! I hope that's not the case. If you do find out if that's the case, please don't tell me. Ignorance is bliss in that kind of situation.

My 3rd Car, a FREE 1990 Olds Cutlass Supreme

I remember that lovely car! Any updates on it? Yes, I'm very happy it was rescued. Taylor got this one if I remember?

    How much are these worth?

Thanks guys! I thought about asking $200 for the Chevy one, a local guy who is going to do some bodywork on my 87 GMC High Sierra 4x4 is interested in it. It's pretty much perfect, came off of a tailgate that I'm using. The tailgate sat up in a garage loft wrapped up in a blanket since 85...

Yes, I think that's correct. There's also a chime that comes from the passenger side kick panel I believe that makes a chime when you leave the keys in the ignition and if your car is so equipped, a turn signal on reminder. The flasher relay that controls the speed of the turn signal and makes...

My 3rd Car, a FREE 1990 Olds Cutlass Supreme

Jiggity76 here, sorry it took me so long to reply, been busy. Anyway, very cool to read all about this project and I love these cars no matter how basic or fully optioned they are! The turn signal/hazard flasher is mounted on top of the steering column clear down at the base of it next to the...

    1987 Chevy Stepside on CL.

I don't see these very often, especially here in Iowa. Seems like it's pretty solid if anyone is looking for one. https://desmoines.craigslist.org/cto/d/1987-chevrolet-4x4-1-2-ton/6701446539.html

I wanted to post these also because of the squarebody in the background, you can barely see it in the first pic.

    My other pride and joy.

According to the GM Heritage Center, 116,008 total production for 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix's, two and four doors. The following information was give to me by Manic (Jay) from W-Body.com. Only 834 STE's built in 1993. 505 built with the LQ1 motor. 100 were white with grey cloth. 1 of 2 cars...

    My other pride and joy.

I just acquired another rare W-Body, been looking for quite awhile and couldn't believe I found this car and just couldn't pass it up! I bought it from the original owner and it's way out in Yucca Valley CA. I plan on bringing her home this fall to Iowa to keep my 91 Cutlass Supreme...

Fred Gibb, Dick Harrell old school 1969 drag car pics.

Found these old photos in my dad's old photo album. They have Nov 1989 on the back of them. Thanks to the very knowledgeable and great guys from W-Body.com, it's the first 1969 ZL-1 Camaro built. They built 69 of these cars of whom Fred Gibb ordered 50 for his dealership, Fred Gibb Chevrolet...

Some really nice Squares on CL.

Found these two squares on CL, hopefully someone else hasn't posted them yet. I would love to have the crew cab but I need to finish my projects first. The crew looks to be in good shape especially being a MN truck. The step side truck is rough but aren't these pretty rare guys...

Some really nice Squares on CL.

Ok, thanks. I'm going to have a 4x4 Burb frame left over when the truck project is done so I'm thinking about getting a nice rust free Burb body project to put back on the frame. Seems there is a lot of 2wd big block Burbs for sale and was just thinking it over.

Some really nice Squares on CL.

Concerning Suburban frames, what are the differences between 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton? Is it just the axles and leaf springs or is there a difference between frame rails too?
