    I did a similar swap in my 77 K10. 5.3 and NV4500. Over all it was not that difficult, just time consuming. There is a ton of info on the net and in multiple post here. In the end I am thrilled with how mine turned out.

    I believe you are asking about the tapered wedge nut. Part number 716139, approximately $20 from Summit. I made the push rod out of some all thread. Hope this helps.

    I used a tank from an 87 with tbi, they have the necessary baffling. Also the sending unit from 87 tbi. For a pump I used EP381.

    Grey wire is pump power. Purple wire is sending unit. Black ground goes to frame. Believe the connector is a Delphi weather pack.
