ok have 75 C20, it is TH350 factory, two piece driveshaft. i am looking t put a 465 trans in it.. as i hate autos and want need 4 speed badly, miss it alot. can i simply swap front half of driveshaft out for a 4 speed one? from what i cant tell i need somewhere around 36 or 38 inches length from the output yoke of the 465 trans back to the carrier bearing. does anyone have a 2wd 4 speed truck can measure see if this is right? i still trying to find a 4 speed trans and mech clutch linkage partsi dont want hydraulic 84-up) and pedal and column and floor tunnel pan etc so i can do this.... for two years now.. nothing exists here in central IL..

I think I know where you can find the linkage parts you're looking for.

There's a place in Galesburg called Midway Auto Parts. And there a few old squares with manual transmissions in the yard.

A bit of a drive from Lincoln, but it might be worth it.

Also, I think I bought a Saginaw 3 speed, Clutch, and Flywheel from you like 2 years ago. My old clutch was slipping bad, but that new clutch I got from you is still holding strong.

Depending on budget. Consider a NV4500.
