    It's not new. I don't know when it was put in. It was in it when I bought the truck in 2019. I have the block number but no date. Is there a way of finding out what year it was made?

    I used a pair of cutters to cut the grommet. Sure wish they would include a new grommet on any new cables

    What Bennyt said. at least 1000 trucks. Hard to believe he started this in his yard in Phoenix several years ago and it's grown into what it is today. When I went in 2021, Dino was greeting everyone that drove in. Such a cool and laid back guy.

    I used to have a 65 Suburban, and a friend ran a bedliner business near me so had him spray the underside of my hood for me. It added weight to it, but it was solid after that. Also had him do the gas tank on my 65 Chevy II, since rocks were constantly hitting it.

    That's what I was thinking too. Seems lie everything is starting to leak or go to pot, lol. Even my master cylinder lid gasket is leaking now.

    Fender emblem replacement

    On my 84 Sierra 2500, I replaced the left fender, that came off of a K5 Blazer, and my original emblem had the studs broke off, so I used 3M double sided tape. Worked perfect and can't tell it's stuck on and not bolted.

    My 84 Sierra had an underbed originally, but it's long gone. I was going to get one from a friend but thought about laying in the dirt, or mud etc. if I had to use my spare, so I bought the in bed style from LMC and have it mounted behind the passenger.
