FWW my daughter just looked over my shoulder and absolutely loves / wants the truck ( starts driving with dad on her b'day in Dec ! ). We got her a "ute" as a first vehicle, but at least its a v8 manual 5k is a joke, would be more like $20K over here, even in that condition. You would be lucky... -
To remove or not to paint frame?
I get everything blasted at a "local" industrial paint place. They do large stuff like frames and suspension arms OK, but are not interested in fiddly small parts ( I need a blast cabinet for those I think. valkomna. I spent some time in Malmo ( back before they built the bridge, and you had to take the ferry for a beer..!). What is the history of GM in Sweden? Did they build / sell chevy trucks there, or are they all imports from the US ?? I dont remember seeing any, only Volvo, Saab and VW !!- Fat 454

Heater core replacement
we just replaced one in an OBD. Used some strips cut from an old craftsman draw liner ( thin heigh density foam sheet ). Worked a treat.- Fat 454

Whatcha do with that...?
we keep everything except old gaskets and seals etc. When you have to double the price due to the exchange rate, and then double again for shipping and import duties, you cant afford not to. everything is rebuild able ( thats why we are in to this stuff in the first place right ). I'll die in a... -

roof rust "paint?"
Like @fast99 says - you will want to get the roof wet "sand" / media blasted to clean out the rust to bare metal. whether you do this first, or come back to it later, I would invest in an airless spray gun and hit it first with a cold galvanising ( zinc ) primer. @Rumbledawg - that interior is wild ! - Gordon Gekko phone ..and the TV! , bet it only shows re-runs of the A-team and the 8 track only plays Bee-Gees hits. Hi - if you are looking to do something yourself at home to get an idea of what you have, before you take it to a shop, you can get a good idea simply with a tape measure and a buddy. ok - i'll see your QJ and raise you a ... thermo-quad. top jetting, spread bore, no heat sink and bigger fuel bowls - what's not to like. If you think the QJ gets hate, it ain't nothing like the TQ!
