    I'm ordering a new radiator cap for my 1983 c20 with 350 v8. All the ones I find online are like 14,15,16 psi. I think my old one is 7 psi? Which one should I order? I'm also doing thermostat. Should I do upper and lower rad hoses too? I'll be flushing the coolant as well probably.

    How about just using old hard drive magnets? They are very powerful and are free... Just go to your local computer shop and ask for a dead desktop hard drive and pull the magnets out.

    Yeah its a nice truck I priced it like that because of the rough idle issue. If you did both the fuel spider MPFI conversion and the lower intake manifold gaskets you'd be spending about $400 in parts, and a couple hours in labor. I just don't have the time and don't need 3 trucks. What's funny...

    So, over how many miles does a lack of ZDDP cause problems? I mean, if the engine lasts another 200,000 miles before experiencing a mechanical failure, who cares. If it's a matter of permanently causing damage to the engine within 20,000 miles then adding ZDDP is a priority.
