Saw a 1974 with 454ci and TH400, it has DANA 70 rear, DANA 60 front. No second gear though.

Have a good day. :)

Throw up a link to that craigslist ad. I love 454 burbs.

I'm probably spinning my wheels here, but I'm about 12 millers deep here and have nothing better to do.

This isn't a website full of guys with a bunch of extra money that build these trucks from the ground up because we ran out of other things to spend money on. Most of us are in the same boat as you say you are, with families to support and bills to pay. Now I don't know you, and I don't know your story, and I don't know if you're full of **** or if you're truly so bad off that your trying to hustle money on the Internet, but I don't think you're going to find it here. If you get one bought, feel free to drop back by and we would all be more than willing to share what we know and help you get it on the road, but if I could afford to buy you a big block burb, I would sure as hell already own one. Good luck to you sir.

Would one of you mods be so kind as to delete my posts here. I don't want them coming up in a Google search or something.

I saw that '74 on CL, it's 230 miles from you with a bad transmission. Even if you had the money to buy it you still have to get it home and fix the transmission. Any money you have would be better spent on an economy car near you and in running condition.

Best of luck sir.

Thank you for the input kind sirs. May be a pipe dream, but it's my pipe dream. :) I have a big family, so economy cars are out of the question.

Well, off to other topics, like the best high-amp alternators, etc. I still have a junkyard AC/Delco I put in my 79 Toyota Supra years ago that lasted years, whereas the Toyota alternators kept burning out. Good eving everyone.

So I take it this purchase fell through? If so, keep looking, they're out there. K20 is a nice part, but I sure wouldn't let one get away that was a small block burb either.

Welcome to GMSB !!!
