    Mequires has some nice swirl remover, but once again, thats what I used on my 2001 Trans Am. So I know its a totally different process with 1984 paint / what is left of the clear coat.

    I wondered if that would be the steps. I know on newer clear coats, I would do scratch remover, polish, and carnuba. But wasn't sure if it was the same steps on older vehicles.

    So I'm just now getting to it, but the PO put some ashes in the bed and it seems like some got stuck to the bed floor. Any idea on how to remove this? It's pretty stuck on. I might just have to sand. I'm about to put on some bed liner anyways.

    Did they change something on the newer 5.3's? I wouldn't run over 8 lbs of boost once in a while. The Piston rings will snap the Piston tops off.

    I just went through a bunch of electrical issues last year . Triple check your battery cables for any kind of corrsion and make sure you have a good connection.

    I purchased one of the $50 ones from Amazon .The billet so and so ones. I haven't had a problem with mine. (Except I learned that I couldn't stab it for shit .)

    Thanks! That answers about everything I could have asked. I haven't heard of black death since I left the shop. There were some mid-2000's C classes that were having catastrophic damage and we would have to replace the whole system. Have you ever noticed a difference at highway speeds?

    Yeah, I think so. Your tire size is what mine is now with 235/75R15. So if the wheel gap is the same around, then yes, thats exactly what I am going for. What size tire are you running? Might be close. 275/60r17 = 30" 235/75r15 = 28.9" So its an inch more, but I plan on running a 29" tire.

    What size tire are you running? I like how the front doesnt have a wheel gap, but the back looks tucked. I get that the truck is level, thats just something I dont want.

    Its one of two things... a super saggy spring or a bent wheel. I know one wheel has a "wobble" but, Im 100% sure that is on the rear. I hope that with replacing the springs, that does it, but I aint skeerd to replace a rim or two. It needs front springs. I thought about doing factory springs...
