Ok, I have been looking for 3 or 4 pages now... so time to ask.

Right now, Im running a 235/75, thats 28.9 inches. That's about what my 20's will be when I go with them.

I dont like 3/5 drops with 20's because it always looks like the rear wheels are tucked and I cant stand that.

So Im thinking 2 inch drop spindle with 1 inch drop springs. I do need to replace my springs as my drivers spring is worn out. But, hopefully that will clear the 15's for now. Id rather do a 3 inch drop spindle but that wont clear factory wheels and I'd still have to replace the springs. And then a 4 inch drop in the rear. I would rather have the same wheel well gap and a little rake to it as I do use it as a truck.

I did ask 74 Shortbed about his set up. But I have questions about a flip kit. Isnt that usually 5"? Or is that just an estimate? And yes, when I go 20's they will be staggered widths but about the same size tire height.

Also, what spring would you run for a 1 inch drop. I's like something very close to a factory ride.

Lastly shocks, I think if I remember correctly, its Nissan hard body shocks for the .... rear ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ , I forget, but what would you run on the other side?

Thoughts? Suggestions?

If you don’t like the tucked look, I would just run 2.5 drop spindles with a shackles and hangers in the back. With the flip kit, even though western chassis states 5” it’s more than likely closer to 6”

And by lowering it, will that fix your vibration?

Its one of two things... a super saggy spring or a bent wheel. I know one wheel has a "wobble" but, Im 100% sure that is on the rear. I hope that with replacing the springs, that does it, but I aint skeerd to replace a rim or two.

It needs front springs. I thought about doing factory springs and a 3 or 3.5 drop spindle, but everyone that I have read says you have to file down the control arm to clear factory 15's. Im not sure thats something I want to do.

What size tire are you running?

I like how the front doesnt have a wheel gap, but the back looks tucked. I get that the truck is level, thats just something I dont want.

The rear fender well openings are lower than the front. You will have to lower the rear end less than most to achieve the raked look.

Is this more the look you're going for? It's got 295/60/15's on it. I bought it like that so I'm not sure what the po did to it. He said he bought it like that. I can't stand the slammed look. It'sgot a even gap front and back. I can take some better pics after work to show you the gap and suspension. I'm sure there's guys on here that could tell better how they achieved this height.

I did the same as rwjjr I used stock shocks all around with extenders on the rear. Wheels here are 17s with a 235/55 front and 275/60 rear. It rode great...

Yeah, I think so. Your tire size is what mine is now with 235/75R15. So if the wheel gap is the same around, then yes, thats exactly what I am going for.

Might be close. 275/60r17 = 30" 235/75r15 = 28.9"
So its an inch more, but I plan on running a 29" tire.

So because I need to replace the left front spring anyways, and I dont know when I am getting new wheels, I am just going to go with a 2.5 spindle, 1" drop springs, and then a 4" drop in the rear for now. Its hard to tell where I want to be with 34 year old springs, and one of them is super sagging right now.

I had the same issue when I dropped mine. My front driver side spring had collapsed and it was a good 1 1/4” lower than my passenger side.
