    84 C-10 lowering

If you want to save a little coin....cut one round off the stock coils for 2in in the front and get a set of 4in drop hangers and shackles for the rear.

    84 C-10 lowering

You just need the spindle to drop it 2.5in. If you put a drop spring with a spindle it will add to the overall drop. A 2.5in spindle and a 2in drop spring will yield a total drop of 4.5in from stock height.

    84 C-10 lowering

I think your best bet would be a 3.5/5in drop. This will consist of 2.5in drop spindles, 1in drop coil springs, and a flip kit for the rear. Fwiw...mine is 4.5/8in drop but that might be lower than what you want.

    84 C-10 lowering

We really need to know how low in the front you are going and if you want it to sit level or retain the factory 2in "rake" after lowering.

    c-notch?

No you typically dont but here is a way to find out if you need one. You will need 5.25in from the top of your leaf spring to the bottom of your frame (not the bottom of the bumpstop bracket) at ride height. To break that down you need 2in minimum suspension travel, 3in for the axle tube, and...

    Spring Compressors needed?

You dont need a spring compressor. You can use a floor jack, and the weight of the truck. You just need nerves of steel.

The rear shackle hanger needs to be mounted exactly 4in back from the original 52in spring location.

has anybody tried pulling wire thru front posts

I never have but I saw a video on youtube where the guy used a hair dryer or a vacuum cleaner to create an air flow through the A pillar then fed a string in the air flow which he then used to pull the wire through. I couldn't find the video.

Lowered on stock wheels. What size tire?

http://www.gmsquarebody.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12557I would probably go with 235/70/15.

Fresh Coat. Plus tire size question for lowered trucks....

235/75/15 should work fine and will have a white wall, if you want raised white letters go with a 235/70/15.

Driving Lights Install - relay connections

Since your using a relay to power the lights and you only need a 12v hot to trigger the relay, you can use a spare terminal in the fuse box. You should have one right next to the running light fuse. This should only power the relay if your park lights or head lights are on. Verify the terminal...
