has anybody tried pulling wire thru front posts

I never have but I saw a video on youtube where the guy used a hair dryer or a vacuum cleaner to create an air flow through the A pillar then fed a string in the air flow which he then used to pull the wire through. I couldn't find the video.

I pulled the antenna lead for a sat radio through the A pillar but had the advantage of cab marker lights. With the end light removed I had a straight enough shot to fish a wire through then pull the cable.
