What should i replace on a NP241 rebuild

I found one the other day and ordered a seals kit on the way home just to start me off. Once I got it opened it all looked brand new. No damage, magnet was clean, chains tight, fork pads looked great, pump was clean. So I just replaced the rings and seals. Lol

Lets talk Hydro boost vs vacuume boost

Well seeing as I have a 1992 power steering pump that isn't an issue. The only place I'm worried is the pedal

Lets talk Hydro boost vs vacuume boost

This is just one section in a much bigger plan. I'm currently putting the entire drivetrain and wiring harness from a 1994 in my truck

Lets talk Hydro boost vs vacuume boost

I mean more along the lines will any pedal from a hydroboost truck work on a 85 k10. I need a pedal with a pin large enough to be able to connect the hydro boost rod plus the brake switch My thoughts being, can I take the pedal off a gmt400 with hydroboost and use it on my square body?

Lets talk Hydro boost vs vacuume boost

What trucks should I be looking at for the pedal? Any with hydro boost? I pulled a unit from a yard months ago and forgot about the pedal differences. I got mine from a newer Chevy van 3500. I'll also note that I'm switching everything to a 1994 wiring harness. Heres pics of the booster and...

What should i replace on a NP241 rebuild

Ya I've watches tear down videos. It seems super simple. I'm guessing the only real thing to replace is bearings and races.

What should i replace on a NP241 rebuild

Looking thru all the yards for a suburban 241. Once I grab one what all should I inspect and replace? Just a few bearings and maybe a chain?

    Anyone: 2000+ AAM 14bolt hubs/brakes on 1970s/80s GM 14bolt axle

    1991 suburban instrument cluster

I'm swapping my entire drivetrain and electronics to a 1994 setup. I just need an electronic speedo to complete it. EBay peeps want $130 and local yards here don't have any.

    Swapping 700r4 to 4L60 (or possibly 4L80)

Ok I got the rebuild kits in today to start tearing into this 4l60e. I've looked around and seen a lot of different suggestions regarding fluids to use while rebuilding the tranny. Vasoline on the check valves being one. Soaking parts in atf prior to assembly being another. Or using assembly...

    Anyone: 2000+ AAM 14bolt hubs/brakes on 1970s/80s GM 14bolt axle

Ok so over the last year I have researched a lot of different things regarding the differences between the old and the new 10.5 ring 14 Bolt Full Floaters. It seems that a lot of people have done the research also and can say that an adapter WILL allow an older axle to accept the new brake...

14 Bolt hubs...grease them or what?

Ya I did some Google searching earlier and found all that. The speed thing wasn't an issue. I was trying to climb a slight in climb that was muddy from a recent rain and it never locked. So I guess I'll be shopping around the yards for an open carrier to snatch
