    Just thought Id ask, what all people have done on here with their TBI motors. Mods, proms, swaps, etc.... from the cheap and quick to the drawn out expensive. What have you done to make your square even more of a beast?

    The cast markings on the back are 7832904. There is also a "23" stamped next to a "DF" inside a football looking oval. above the output port is "METRIC" then "0519"

    TBI issues? and how easy would it be to just hollow out the pump so it still looks legit? what year pump is that??? mine has a rubber hose that connects it to the diverter valve not a metal bracket/tube

    I looked up smog pumps on auto zones website to compare product numbers. 87 Camaro and 87 v20 use the same. 85 k10 is different. I'm gonna try the pump from my 85 and see if there is any difference. I also looked up 1990 k2500 and its the same pump as the 87s. So Idk what to take out of all this...

    idk about new holes :/ frame may already have holes where you need them to move the crossmemeber. and Jim seems to be the TBI master. There is another gentleman on here though that excels at wire harnesses

    If you swap on Vortec heads you will most likely need the ECM chip re-programmed. Tranny shouldn't be an issue at all

    1990 k2500. Has provisions for a pump. But I had to grind down the mounts on the pump to get it to fit inside the bracket. Then I had to rotate it bc of the output tube on the back hitting. Not tube is against the exhaust manifold. Thoughts?

    Ok now we know you can easily transfer the brackets over from 90s sbc to earlier blocks. Now i need to retain my smog pump for emissions here in PA. so has anyone here done a serpentine conversion and maintained the pump? I'm tried a couple different things and i keep running into issues...
