    Seals for vent assy

I'd avoid LMC for the seals. Many people have reported that they get hard and brittle quite quickly. I put seals from Classic Parts on my 84' (the DIY up above) almost 5 years ago, and they are still in good shape.

    Auxillary Battery Tray?

LMC has the driver side battery tray available. I used it when I moved my battery to the driver's side for my LS swap.

LS Swap. Need to figure out power for pumps.

You'll want to tie into the tan/white that came from the original fuel pump relay and into the bulkhead. I believe that was the one on the passenger side. The other tan/white that runs down along the frame rail is for a single tank setup, and is unused if you have dual tanks (it terminates in a...

LS Swap. Need to figure out power for pumps.

Tan w/ white stripe going into the fuse block. There is another set of two tan w/white stripe coming out of the bulk head that runs over to the firewall behind the engine. This feeds into the dash switch itself. You want to tie into the single tan/white going into the fuse block, not the 2...

6.0 liter stock fuel injection HP limitations

Nope. 03' up trucks were generally all returnless (I think FlexFuel versions still used a return). My 02' LS1 in my Vette is returnless as well.

Made in USA parts at Autozone

I had one the other way around, box said Made in Korea, opened it up, and part had Made in Canada cast on it.

    Dual tank 87

Very common for the hose between the pump and the sending unit to split. You'll get enough fuel for it to stumble and run like garbage at idle, and not much else. It just pumps the fuel right back into the tank.

6/8" lowered and LS motor clearance

The compressor itself will clear. As far as hoses go, you can get 90* fittings from ColdHose that will let it clear, or you can modify the factory LS hoses, but that will require a small clearance in the frame to clear the compressor fitting.

What have you done to your square lately??

Finished welding in my cats today, and the sound is just right now. Nice and mellow at idle, but still some rumble, easy going just loafing around town, but when you stand on it, she wakes up. I'm quite happy now. Plus, the exhaust smells better (not by much, thanks EFI! But better, all the same).

What have you done to your square lately??

The sound is quite different (more rumbly, I'd say), but they are pretty quiet at idle, and cruising down the road. Where they get loud is under a heavy load from about 2800 RPM and up. It's really weird, it will get really crackly and poppy around 2800RPM, then by 3500RPM it's all smoothed up...

6/8" lowered and LS motor clearance

It will depend on your mounts. Tejas Steelworks mounts are optimal for lowered vehicles, as they move the engine up, so a stock truck oilpan will be flush, or just above the factory 2wd cross member. They do move the engine forward a bit, so you'll need to run e-fans and get a new driveshaft...

What have you done to your square lately??

Swapped some Magnaflows in place of my Dynomax Superturbos. Installing a set of cats today to finish it off. I was never really happy with the Superturbo sound, and the Magnaflows are good just piddling around, but get really poppy and loud under hard acceleration through 2800-3500 rpm. The cats...

    2002 - 4.8L to 5.3L or should I go to a 5.7L?

You can actually tell the rotation based on which side of the belt is driving the accessory. Smooth side of the belt is reverse rotation to the crank, ribbed side runs same direction. All of the water pump pulleys are smooth, so they will rotate reverse to the crank.

    LS Conversion From 400

Very nice! Are those the Dakota VHX gauges? In any case, I echo your sentiments. Having swapped to a 6.0L/4L80E, the difference in power and driveability is amazing. Hop in, turn the key, and it fires up within a second, EVERY time, no fuss, and has tons of power. I've pulled down as good as...

Did you consider the LS3 Camaro pump? It lines up with truck accessories, but clears the car intake just fine, and lets you avoid using spacers. You've already got the piece you need to make it work, the idler relocate. Here is mine:

Need help with 5.3 ls swap

Most people end up building the fuel system with AN fittings. If you go that route, you'll need a 3/8th Quick Disconnect to -6AN, and a 5/16 Quick Disconnect to -6AN (3/8 is the feed, 5/16 is the return) for the rail. 3/8 to -6AN QD is Russell 644123 5/16 to -6AN QD is Russell 640863 From...

Need help with 5.3 ls swap

Definitely run a tank with baffles. There's always going to be that one time you run it low, and it becomes a safety issue. Pull out into traffic in a hurry, and you're low? Truck could stall, leaving you stranded in the road way, just as one example. For $80, you can get the new 87' tank with...

Need help with 5.3 ls swap

MU1614 won't work with the 87' tank, as it's a full fuel sender assembly. The ACDelco EP381 is a pump that would work great for you. Just avoid Ebay and Amazon, they are full of knock offs. I'd get it from RockAuto.
