1988 c30 crew cab

What's up I'm new to the site and just got my sweet square body on Monday (12-19-16) and loving it I got it off craigslist from a stucco company for $650
454 400 got it running and runs very well just a very good cleaning white with tan interior
Any pointers I do want to lower it and maybe a short bed conversion. I don't know yet but I love this truck
Any help is appreciated thank you..
