Old77's '98 ECSB 4x4
Should make a great DD. 98's had the electric 4wd actuator right? I know my 90 had that stupid thermal actuator and if you got in some deeper snow, it would get cold and disengage. Then every time I shut the truck off the front axle would disengage. Annoying as hell.- Stroked

Fuse keeps blowing causing no lights
Yikes! That's a tough one to diagnose. Something must be shorting out somewhere. I'd start with looking at every light and tracing the wires as far back as you can. The brake lights are powered by the same wires as the turn signals so you might have something screwy in the bed wiring. Sent...- Stroked

Vintage VW Guy Now Has A Chevy
Welcome to GMSB! I always have the spare just laying in the bed and if I haul something I just throw it on top of whatever I'm hauling or off to the side. I had a toolbox and an oversize spare tire in the bed of my old shortbed stepside. Talk about lack of space for hauling stuff.- Stroked

You might need to PM one of the moderators to see about getting your user name changed. A 305 isn't the worst engine in the world, but a 350 would for sure be better. As long is it runs good, I don't think you'll mind it. My K10 has a 305 and it still runs pretty good so I'm just saving up...- Stroked

It ended up selling for $2,250 which still wasn't too bad. Could've stripped everything I wanted and sold the wheels, seats, and some other crap and then taken the shell to the scrapper.- Stroked

Heck yea, that'll be a nice setup. I can't remember if you put a Pioneer in the burb or not, but you'll love it. I put a double din Pioneer in my Ram and the screen looks just like that. It's awesome. :rockit:- Stroked

Anyone here changed a Grand Prix CV shaft?
My sister's '02 Grand Prix has a hella vibration on acceleration and I think I've narrowed it down to a CV shaft. If I grab the drivers side shaft and yank up and down, the inner joint clicks back and forth. Anybody on here had experience with changing one of those? I've watched a couple...- Stroked

Flatbed bed rails and tailgate.

My Chistmas shoes
Nice! On my old '86 all I had to do was bend in the fender lip a bit to make 33's fit, but I'm sure they'd rub on my '84 K10. Some of these trucks must have saggier springs than others.- Stroked

must have modern creature comforts?
I would like fuel injection for my square and then remote start for the winter. I mostly want heated mirrors and a rear window defroster. Not sure they even make the last one.
