Anyone here changed a Grand Prix CV shaft?

My sister's '02 Grand Prix has a hella vibration on acceleration and I think I've narrowed it down to a CV shaft. If I grab the drivers side shaft and yank up and down, the inner joint clicks back and forth.

Anybody on here had experience with changing one of those? I've watched a couple youtube videos on other cars, but I can't seem to find one on that body style of Grand Prix. Seems like it might be something I could tackle rather than making her pay a mechanic since she's just a broke college kid.

Good to hear. Looks like I'll have to get an axle nut socket, but I always like buying more tools.

Get snap-on, they are a cheep throwaway tool
