I've read a lot of forums but never joined one til now. Still have a 73 gmc that i have built from the ground up twice. it is currently apart again waiting for an engine swap. i bought a 6.0 and 4L80E out of an HD truck. still need to decipher exactly what the motor is cause i bought it at a swap meet. Im hoping to get some info for things like headers and wiring for the swap as well. looking forward to some good bench racing on here.

Thanks. Yeah I think the swap is gonna be a lot of fun when it is done. I've already tracked down most of the parts I need to get it done. I'm stealing a lot of the technology and methods of swapping from the dirt track. Clean simple and practical. Well practical as far as a gas guzzling hot rod can be.
