    Speed sensor question — 700R4

You guys already nailed it but the adapter is for a mechanical output that you don't have. You can grab the signal from the sensor itself or from the drac output to the factory gauge I believe. Either way you've got to calibrate it so it shouldn't matter.

Green Gas Monkey Wrecked Truck being rebuilt.

I think a few things could have been done a little different, but that's my personal preference on stuff. it's definitely 100% better than it was from even before the wreck. He did much better work for sure.

Green Gas Monkey Wrecked Truck being rebuilt.

I think since the cabs are on the smaller side 1 will be plenty. If it's in the middle like that no one will ever know when the beds on it. If you did 2 then it might be seen through the gap, if that is a concern.

I would probably use windshield urethane if it needed something to seal and hold

    Anybody got a Jetta TDI?

I have a 2013, an a love/hate relationship with it. Everything that happens to it is a minimum of $500 an 2 weeks of it being down. It's a nice car an does decent on fuel but man it sucks to work on. The DSG on it is sealed too, kinda takes some getting used to. I've had it checked 2 times...

Tie rod ends (quality question) for C10

Yes moog is the best there imo. Amazon or rock auto usually have the best prices if you're not in a hurry. If you are order online for store pickup at advance an they usually always have 15-20% codes in a banner at the top of the site.

    New daily driver

Ugh I had one in my old '00 S10 too. It bit the dust about the same mileage as this one. I had a 1 piece aluminum made to replace it. Ran me about $400 iirc. That got rid of a vibration that truck had between 40-45 since it was new. Dealer never could "replicate the issue" lol. I'm sure it has...

    New daily driver

Carrier bearing took a dump. It's "non-serviceable" so a new driveshaft was $1000-1200. I found this bearing housing kit from jxb performance. $300 an fixed the problem. I still don't understand why such a short driveshaft needs a carrier but whatever. Only other stuff I've had to do is both...

    OEM Starter options?

Rock auto is the place to go if you're not in a hurry. I have this code that's good through the 16th for 5% off too. 232013371208366575 Advance has a 20% code this weekend if you order online for store pickup. I'll do that if it's something I can't wait on. It's usually 15% everyday but they...

    OEM Starter options?

A quick look at the mounting bolts should tell you. 168 is staggered, 153 straight across from each other.

    OEM Starter options?

Also if you use the 96+ starter you'll need the matching bolts. They are shorter than the ones for the factory squarebody starter. It's well worth going to that starter though, you get a better starter, thats smaller but puts out more ummph an is available at nearly any parts store. Much better...

    Sniper In My 1970 GMC

It should but you'll need to take the end off the vent line on the tank side. They have like a check valve type thing in them that will affect your fuel pressure from the additional restriction. It will also need extending to about 1/8-1/4 off the bottom of the tank to avoid aeration of the fuel.

96 sanden compressor into an 83

I got a set of hoses from an S10 blazer an a local radiator shop welded on crimp style fittings to the end of the hard line portion for me. This was for vintage air but should work the same as long as you can find the fitting sizes for the other stock components. There's a good picture of it...

    Tranny's Bunghole!!

From what I've read on the newer ones without the drain they expect you to just pull the inspection/pto covers to drain it. That's what I did on my 99 when I tried a fluid change on it to try an help the grinding issue it has.

    Show your daily driver

My daily the last two weeks. Except for the 10 mpg it's done pretty well. I went back to the charger today though lol it's getting warm an I still got to get the rest of the ac components replaced in the dually.

Flip kit ended up too low. Now what?

I agree, I think the actual issue was the front was to high. This is why I don't like the belltech kits with the 1" spring. It usually doesn't give you any drop over your worn factory spring.

    Nv4500/Np205/Twin-Stick Mod Underway////Pics

Are you going to go into more detail on the trans in the other thread you had? I haven't had time to get into the one in my dually yet. While I don't condone it, I stumbled across a download able pdf of that torque King manual. It's out there for free with a little google-fu

    front shock recommendation

You could go with the monomax line then, they are more heavy duty than the gr2s. Any drop shock is going to be to soft to help the scrubbing

    Flip Kit

Gotta pull that bumpstop bracket though for sure! I'd add a low profile bumpstop just in case you do manage to bottom it out.
