He was only in it for the acquisition of free rubber duckies, lol.
Of all the things that are “Jeep things” I absolutely hate the duck thing. No idea why it’s a thing but it’s pretty stupid lol

I'm glad it doesn't apply to old Cherokee's. I have never had one stupid rubber duck placed on my Cherokee in the 22 years owning it

You are lucky. They put them in the Cherokee's in these parts too. The XJ's only, not the Grands that I've seen.

I don’t get the duck thing. Also don’t wave. Not in my jeep or on my motorcycle—unless I know you and I’m saying hi.

I never waved either. The wave came from when vets came back from WWII. Most folks who drove jeeps after the war were vets so they waved to their war brothers. So that one makes sense for how it started but really doesn't make sense today. Obviously, Betty running to Walmart and driving passed Suzy and waving has nothing to do with waving to someone you went to war with LOL I never got used to the wave. Every time someone waved I was like "who the hell was that???" Then my wife would be like "We're in the Jeep".....Oh yeah.....
