Sounds crazy but I used Krylon Fusion Blue on the door panels and dash pad, on my 84 Sierra. Pretty close match and it’s holding up good

If anyone is still following this I think the light blue color you are looking for is called "Hawaiian Blue"

This truck below has exterior paint confirmed in "Hawaiian Blue" and the interior trim looks to match almost exactly the exterior paint color. I'm going to get a custom can of SEM color coat, they should be able to mix based on the paint code.

Trust GM to have 3 colors of blue, and 2 of em are real close....
That interior color does go well with the body color though. I remember my grandma's '68 Tempest having the metallic blue interior, and it seems like every piece of it was a slightly different shade. That car was garaged... when she was at home. Otherwise it was on the road or in an open air parking lot.
What year is that paint chip chart from? The "light green" looks like the Willoway Green on Dad's 75. I don't remember seeing a lot of trucks in that color, and most are the early years of square body trucks.

I struggled to find the correct color paint for my 1977 Chevy C10 Medium Blue Door Panels. Finally found almost perfect color match. In fact, I sprayed a portion of the inside of the unfaded portion of the door panel, and my wife couldn't even see where I had sprayed. It is Rust-oleum American Accents 2X Ultra Cover Paint + Primer. It is Ultra Matte Nantucket Blue. It's designed for Plastic, not designed for vinyl or fabric. I think it will work great on the door panels. See attached picture.

May want to get more than 1 depending how much you’re spraying. It goes quick. 2 full door panels is likely to use more than 1 can.

Hi Jeff, I was wondering if you found a solution to your color matching issue. I have a 1977 c20 with the same interior color as yours and have experienced the same problem.
Thanks in advance,
Nick
nwessel77, I did find an exact match. Posted #39 on this thread. Rustoleum American Accents 2X Ultra Cover Paint + Primer Ultra Matt Nantucket Blue. I painted my '77 Door Panels and they were perfect.

I’m looking to repaint the plastic trim on my 1977 Cheyenne with blue interior. LMC only lists Colorbond-blue 37-8382. I ordered some but it’s not even close. The attached picture shows the original color in the middle. Left side is sun faded and the right side is the LMC color. has anyone found a good match?

Thanks,
Jeff
I feel your pain, I have a K5 Blazer with saddle interior and I have ordered from several different companies interior parts and no of them match very well.
