The kids love to get in there and pretend/explore... I should learn to just make sure they haven't changed something before I think it's broke. lol
I think it’s cool too when kids want to get in the cab and pretend. Brings a smile to my face, just have to remember to tell them not to do vroom-vroom with the gas pedal, haha.

Awesome! I've got an '86 350 TPI Camaro that I need to get back on the road again. Years ago I did aluminum heads, an old Crane CompuCam, Accel injectors, etc. I ran out of budget and always had the intent to swap out the intake setup. It's a very stout street engine, but of course there's no top end at all. But mostly I quit driving it due to MAF and/or harness issues. I really want to buy a First manifold for it, but also run cam and crank sensors and a Holley Terminator along with coil packs. That way I can easily have someone do a proper dyno tune on it, since it would be about like tuning an LS. But still be the proper looking TPI small block.
Sounds like it would be a sweet setup! I miss my '86 Camaro. This was back in '95 in high school. And I had my current truck with the TPI in it too. Those were good times. Camaro rotted away unfortunately.

Nice! I got my first one in '99 I think. It was a black one too, but with black interior and gold stripes. It was stolen and then never recovered. I bought a maroon '89 and it just wasn't the same, so I bought another black on black '86 in '02. It's the one I talked about. I swapped in a T56 too, I think that happened in '07 or so. Here it is when we moved a couple years ago:

Paper and taped the box sides, washed the bed metal down the with soap and water; assuming no wind, I plan to shoot primer and bed liner tomorrow morning. Let it dry a couple days so I can put it to work to haul some landscaping materials.

Need to tidy up the wires I see. Lol
This brings back some distinct 90's and early 2000's vibes for me

Rick those heads have big carved out areas in the middle (not every push rod has a smaller hole).
Allows the push rod to move around as opposed to a smaller hole to keep it straighter.
Just my three mechanic friends and my opinion. I'll post what Summit/BP tells me.
If, anyone is keeping score,.........
Today is day 4 of me waiting for a call back from BluePrint about my engine.
I called two days ago and was told, we have your info and pictures, someone will be calling you soon.
Well.........
If this is handled good and proper, I'll sing their praises. But until then...........

1.25 gallons of Raptor liner and around 0.25 gallons of epoxy primer. I’m sure some of you are cringing that I sprayed it for chip guard on the bed side. It was that or lots of hammering, filling and sanding….. I chose the easy path, I will be spraying gloss white over it as soon as it is cured. I got jipped on the hardener, less 4 ounces.

I picked up my 350 SB at the machinists shop (#1), and took it to machinists shop (#2). Number 1 is going out of business and laid off everybody with zero notice. "pack up and get out" he told em. One guy had been there for 24 years. My Friend,Bob, who was doing all the work on my engine is shop #2 and he will help me build the final kit that I will assemble into the finished engine. Bob has lost his lease twice recently which is why his new shop is not really up and running. He was using income at shop 1 to survive till his new shop was ready. So we will press in a new liner into one cylinder, do all the needed machine work left, and then I will take over and assemble. I expect this to take a year or two. Then, the engine will go into my 81 "Ralph". I'm going to need a 4 speed to go behind this engine. and fuel injection? maybe and and and..
I hit "Like" but that's not really right. Who the heck is buying or leasing all these properties, outbidding and driving established businesses out?

It can't all be weed grows like happened in California. Some of it might be property owners not tolerating any "dirty" uses, fearing they may be hit with unknown and crippling fees for Environmental remediation based on capricious newly enacted or future laws. : - {

Badass!
No hating on spray in bedliner. I would have done it too, but repainting it was quicker and “free”. Already had enough leftover paint supplies.
