Year ID - Headlight Bezel

I have a 1982 K10

Ordered a new premium grill from LMC (happy with the fit and quality). Also ordered headlight bezels.

I think I need another year or model. On the left is the existing and held up to the right is the one I received. Can anyone tell if I need to order a different year model potentially?

I have emailed LMC, they will return but waiting on response for help on ID of the matching part.

An 82 should have the turn signals in the bumper.

The bezel on the right is a V22 bezel, a quad headlight truck, the one on the left is an 83+ (what specific years im not sure, I believe there are minor differences between them) non V22 bezel.

I think the one he got sent is the 81-82 V22 quad headlights bezel. The 83-84 has the color band between the sealed beams, (85-87 have a recess where the color band is on the 83-84)(to the best of my recollection). Dad had the V22 stuff for an '81 front clip he was going to put on the '75. I remember the 84 Silverado front end well because I had a love/hate relationship with that Burb for 13 years. It got us a lot of places, but I also had to work on it a lot....

Looking at LMC’s diagrams it does like like it’s an 83 grill with single headlights.

1981/82 never had that set-up. The parking lights were always built down in the front bumper.

1981 had a single headlamp bezel with a matching grill pattern under the headlamp. 1982 had that same bezel AND a quad headlamp option on the Silverado style V22 trim.

The new bezel you now have is a 1982 Silverado (V22) design.

The bezel and lamp set-up on your truck NOW is the 1983/84 design, non V22.

Ordered 83 ones and they fit. Even though the grill I ordered and looks like what it replaced was an 82.

Appreciate the help!

The quad headlamps was available in 1981 as part of the deluxe front appearance package. My 81 Silverado had quad headlights.
They are even shown on the 81 brochure

Chevys used that bezel with the V22 option for 81/82. GMC used it for those years, as well as 83-84, since they didn't use the color band between the two headlights (matching the grille on Silverado V22). Another thread I replied to recently, had several brochure pictures and reminded me of that.....that yellow truck is purty BTW.
