    Well, I have the Accel unit. It is cheaply made, and I was having all manner of issues. I pulled it and replaced it with a GM OE unit. Nothing beats the OEM in my experience. Bought it from GM parts direct online.

    Distributor will hit edelbrock 3764 intake

    you can move the distributor one or two places on the cam gear. Set the engine at TDC on the compression stroke, move the distributor, note where the rotor is, and make that post number 1. next one clockwise is number 8, and so on.
