    My dash pad from LMC was a very nice part. It had a steel backing like original. The dash isn't wavy after it sits in the sun and it fit very well I thought. It is a 79 dash. If you want to get your original dash redone, another alternative to Just Dashes is Al Knoch Interiors in El Paso...

    I used a Cheyenne gauge bezel and dash bezel. The dash bezel dropped in the LMC dash pad's holes with no modifications. The gauge bezel fit the LMC dash very well also.

    Thank you. This one is the foam backed vinyl dash and not the urethane one. So far it looks nice but we will see how it survives an Oklahoma summer.

    Just to follow up, I went with the LMC dash pad and it seemed to fit fine for what I’m doing. I’m very pleased with it so far.

    I have had good luck doing what CalSgt said. I would set it all up the way it came apart, run a pattern and adjust from there. In the past, I have bought two identical pinion bearings and I would hone one out to make it a slip fit so it is easy to assemble/disassemble to check patterns...

    I'm new to the forum. I'm from Oklahoma and own a '79 K20 Silverado. I'm the 3rd owner of the truck. It is all original and needs some restoration but runs and drives great. I still have the 16.5 inch wheels/caps but decided to run some 16 inch wheels right now and store the original wheels...

    Has anyone used an LMC vinyl/foam original style dash pad with good results? I need a dash pad for my 79 K20. USA1 and Cheyenne are out of stock right now so I have been looking at the LMC dash pad.
