That is a 1988 and is either throttle body or TPI. All Camaro engines were fuel injected in '88.

In '85 there were fuel injected Z28s but the lower level Camaro 305s were carbureted.

Yep, TPI was only available on Iroc/Z28 though. With the exception of the B4C police package for the RS.

However, this one was very very recently (like, 18 miles ago) swapped to an Edelbrock carb. The first order of business is properly running the fuel lines and vacuum hoses.

Sweet project!! My neighbor has a 92 anniversary edition with same looking spoiler. I figured being last year and an anniversary edition it got all the goodies put on it. Front sway bar fat like what you would find on a truck!

'91-'92 Z28 got a similar looking spoiler, but it was much much taller.

Anyone ever see an early F car with the iron duke 2.5? Thats a rare one..

Yep, a buddy had one in high school.

Can still get those wiper blades! Lol. Goofy 80s stuff

The PO put 22" or 24" blades on this one. The passenger side hangs way over, but the driver side actually works fantastic.

80s camaros are potentially equipped with hot fuel supplemental electric fuel pumps to reduce vapor lock (TSB kit , was a common issue apparently)
I wonder if that one has it

That was on the early cars, particularly the L69 HO 305. I've owned a couple of those cars and neither of them had the electric fuel pumps.

This car though, being an '88 and was fuel injected, had an in-tank pump just like every other fuel injected F-body.
