Hi everyone. Here is my beater Suburban running wild and free in the hills of Central California.

I've been doing a rolling restoration for the last few years. Often, it ends up being more restoration than I planned. I tried to replace a leaking pinion seal without reading the instructions, which turned into a total axle build. Doh.

I took the opportunity to get an LSD and do a rear disc swap at the same time.

Then I was doing a front brake service and bearing repack, but kept finding worn out parts. I kept removing them until I was inside the diff, and still finding them. So, another axle build, and another LSD. And hey, since I'm in there, why not do a total front end refresh?

This last summer was way too hot, so I did a Sanden conversion after getting one trash compressor after another from the parts store.

And I painted the air cleaner. Because why not?

Then the gas tank sprang a leak and failed smog. So that got replaced.

Since I was in there, I did some undercoating.

I'm working on a cooling system refresh right now.

It's taking way too long. Probably because I pulled the core support out to paint it too.

And refurbish the heater box.

And a bunch of other stuff I can't remember now.

Anyway, thanks everyone.

Welcome from Austria. Nice Truck and good work. Where did you buy the grey radiator mounts?

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone.

The spacer blocks are kind of an experiment. I designed them in OnShape and printed them out on my Ender 3.

There are upper and lower pieces that I painted to match my color scheme.

I finished them up with some rubber rad mount material I found on Summit.

I'm installing this radiator, and the blocks fit it really well.

I'm using PLA printed with stock specs. I won't be surprised if they fail. I'm only trying to find out how so I can improve them. Stay tuned for more on that, I guess lol.

I can send you the design if you want to print some for yourself.
